Tint pics (just got it done)

I'm liking the tint LA tint just put on this morning, using Formula One Ultimate tint. It busted a big hole in my wallet at $320 including the sunroof and tax, but I'm happy with it, looks good to me.

40% front and 38% rears (VA law is 50/35). Just took some pics a little bit ago, I think the tint looks real nice. What do yall think?

Well I for one think it looks good the only bad thing is the money. To me that is way too much for tints but I also don't know the difference with the type of tint but I only paid $150 for 20% all around with lifetime warranty. But either way it still looks good.

Is that reflective tint?
Or just black?
It is hard to tell to me.

BTW....looks good, esp on your Sterling Mist.

Nope it's "ultimate" tint, by Formula One. Formula One has a tint called Premiere which is their more reflective tint/silver looking. The guy said Ultimate was more factory looking, and it has no dye to fade. It looks sorta reflectivy from some of the pics though. I guess it reflects some. Thanks.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of having different tint on same car, but mine is only 2%, unnoticeable. I would have probabaly gotten 28% if it weren't for Virginia laws. Maybe I could have gotten away with 28% at least on the back, but then I'd have to get 38 on the front, you could probabaly notice the difference, and I think that's stretching the VA limit of 50/35 a bit too far.

Yep $280 actually, but after the sunroof and tax more. The Formula One tint over there is 180? I don't think any tint shops around here carried Formula One except LA Tint, and at least I know they did a good job putting it on. It's a reputable company (it's a chain in this area), very nice customer support (very much unlike this other tint place I was at). But yeah.

tint laws are way stupid until someone gets shot. but cops are lenient around here, basically as long as your car doesnt stick out your tint can be rustoleum for all they care. but as soon as you stick out, its 25% you go. i personally have 20% but im getting 5% very soon, my old jeep had 4% all around and i never got hassled, guess its just the luck of the irish.

Come to Florida. $150 gets you 5% limo tint with a one-piece back window. You don't get a receipt because technically it's illegal but, I've never heard of anyone getting a tint ticket around here unless they were acting like as*holes to begin with.

big_ham is correct, i got the hook up from my boy because he does tint for a shop around here, but 150 is the norm around here, if you pull some string 125 is easily agreed upon
