question about installing strut bar...

i should be getting my front strut bar tomorrow and want to install it asap. should i go out and buy a new torque wrench or rent one from autozone. i think i remember reading a thread that mentioned you can rent tools from autozone and get most/all of your money back when you return it. please correct me if i'm wrong and give me suggestions on what i should do. also, just curious...how much does a torque wrench cost?

Got mine for like $25 at sears. You can "rent" tools from autozone for free too.

A torque wrench is a tool everyone should have, forget renting it.

just get one from autozone, install it down in their lot, give it back and go back home. thats what i did

oh and i think the torque wrench rental is about $120 (i know for a fact its close to 100 as i remember). just take some cash with u (no credit card accepted on rentals) and ull be all set.

I have rented stuff with my credit card every time, maybe it is just your store.

But you should just buy a torque wrench you will use it more when you have one to use, it is a simple and valuable tool for preventing unnecessary harm to your car. I got a basic one from sears for $25 and a clicker one from harbor freight got like $20, I recomend the harbor freight one because 75% you won't be able to read a beam type wrench.

...ok i thought that everyone at least had a wrench set. Dude go to sears and get a good one cause if you ever plan on doing everything on your own you will need it. Craftsman is a great company.
