anyone have a y-pipe and catback from cattman? if so, have you pass the state inspection on emissions? im planning to get a cattman y-pipe and catback and also maybe a free flow cat from custommaxima. i have a 1999 cali emission type max. just wondering if you guys think it will pass emissions. i have emailed brain (cattman) and he has said most of the maximas pass emissions and said i should leave the main cat on. wouldnt that main cat restricted alot of power with the y pipe? just trying to get more info from people's experience. your comments would be appreciated..thanx

nope it will not restricted airflow. in fact the freeflow cat is not that much better flowing the the stock cat. i would just leave it on and you will have no problems
