Putting Infinity Q45 front brakes on Maxima???

I've seen some pics of people swapping 300zx brakes on Maxima. But I think those brakes are too stiff and were made for preformance car with different Master cylinder. Since I dont even want to mess with Master cilinder I had an Idea of puting Q45's front brakes on my Maxima.
Q45 brakes are exact copy of 300zx but it only has 2 pistons instead of 4. I did a little research on 300zx swap and I didnt find anything about it. (Anything that I car use)

Question about 300zx swap.
Will I need to do any modifications to my car for 300zx brakes to fit or do the brakes fit it like it fits 240sx 95 and up?

Thank you. This will help me a lot with Q45 SWAP which costs a lot less than 300zx and got 40% more pads than 300zx brakes.

RWD brakes "swap" fine between RWD cars only (at least for Nissan models in question).

You would still need to reduce the diameter of the rotors when going to the FWD Maxima...

The 2 piston Q brakes interested me once before. But due to it's steel construction (ie.. weight) vs the ligher 4 piston 300z versions, I elected to use the Z calipers. I already have wheels that clear the large 4 piston calipers w/o spacers anyway.

what did it cost you to swap out your stock calipers for the 300z's? what mods needed to be done?

Do I have to use Brackets for the swap? I know that 300zx, Q45 front brakes fit fine in 240sx why do we need to use Brackets for maxima???
What if I use stock 300zx rotors will I still need those Brackets???

You can use the 300z rotors of you shave down the radius a bit

rwd nissans does not = fwd nissans.

But imho, the benefits from not increasing the rotor diameter to 12.8 or 13 is not going to be felt on the street.
