Alarm Beep Mod

I would like to find a way to hook up my keyless entry to my horn so every time i lock my car it beeps like on the 5th gens. I don't want to do that mod where you buy that buzzer, i want to hook it into my exsisting horn. I know that if i hook it into my power locks, it will beep every time i lock and unlock my car which i don't want. anyone know how i can go about doing this?

Here is a link to the write up
I did this, it's pretty straight forward. Took me about 5 minutes. People say to make it to where you can hear it more put it on the outside of the car, under the bumper. You don't have to take the plastic part off, I could'nt get it off, just take off the cardboard type thing perpendicular to it. I this helps and I hope I explained iit well enough.

Here is what I did buy a horn for any car and mount it in the trunk near the relay that buzzer write up tells you. then take the positive wire from the horn you bought and "mash it" into the relay where one of the green wires with orange stripe connects to...and then take negative wire and "mash it" into where the orange wire is in the relay. What i mean by mashing it...is to unplug the relay and put the wire on the metal part insde and then reconnect the relay......that way you dont have to buy another relay.....and this just sounds two horns real quick at the same time your lights blink when u lock the car....and the horn doesnt come on when you just use your blinker LOL....lemme know if this helps..or if u need clarification

i tried the mod with the new horn, it didn't work. another problem sprung up though, now when i lock my car with the remote, my turn signals don't flash anymore. i checked all the fuses dealing with the alarm and turn signals and they are all ok....any one have any insight to this?

Try taking the mod "off" and seeing if your lights will flash. Maybe something is just connected wrong and keeping it from working.

And you don't have to "mash" the wires into one relay to keep from buying another relay (unless this is how you want to do it). I did this mod with the buzzer, which I think sounds great when mounted on the outside, and just spliced the wires with no relay. I only connected 2 wires and it works great...
