DIY for wiring a shift led???

is there a write-up for wiring a shift light in using just an led from radio shack...would I just have to buy a pill and put it in line with the led somewhere and splice the rpm wire from the ecu...?

I probably woulda "butchered" the ECU harness, too, but I already did that with all the wiring for my J&S Safeguard... lol.

I am moving on to a new car and a different forum, Maxima.org sucks.

Sorry but youre not getting any info on a shiftlight, or anything else.

Just to clarify, you will need to use a RPM ACTIVATED SWITCH if your "shift light" doesn't have it built in...

Your post makes it sound like ONLY buying an LED but at the same time you mention shift lights (which normally incorporate the RPM activated switch internally)
