Got some stuff done to the max....

Well today I had the whole day to my self. So I decided to work on the max. Had these nasty leaky exhaust gaskets, which needed to be replaced. I had bought the ones for the Y pipe and cat, and cat to cat back. I bought those at my local Nissan dealer... ļŠ Good price too. Installation was a breeze. Finally no more noise from that area, but the bolts are hard to torque down. The b pipe and muffler gasket was trashed also. But that one I had a hard time finding, but luckily Kragen had the gasket. The stock greddy gasket looked like Swiss cheese. I put the new one in, and tightened it hardā€¦ I fired the max up dead silent... I was grinning from ear to ear... Finally my car is quietā€¦

Also while I was at it, I dumped the oil and swapped the oil filer and drain plug copper washer for a new one. After 4.25 quarts of Mobil 1 10w30 she was a happy camper...

Another thing I noticed while under the car, is I only have 2ā€ of suspension travel all around. ļŒ I hate that! Hopefully Iā€™ll have some sort of coil over suspension by DEC. These sprints really eat up the suspension travel. Oh well, the things we sacrifice for better looks..

Thatā€™s allā€¦

I also did all that when transferring parts. Pretty tough job getting the stock crap off the car. Bought all 5 gaskets for $15 I believe, $3 each. 2 y-pipe crush rings, and 3 of the regular ones.
