My hood weighs like 500 pounds and u can feel it bec the hood struts are shot...i know the car would be a bit quicker if i could eliminate the fat..do they make one, can i rig a max one to the I30, 1997. I had a galant, had the hood off bec it was being painted, drove it around all day, i really felt like it was faster, and that thing was a dog..

 

look on yahoo or ebay, then try this thread in the I30 forum not 4th gen maxima.
