fellow maxima owners,

i have a 96 maxima se and last week when i started it up, it died out right away. cranked it again and it started up, but when i drive it, it staggers a little bit like it wants to die out on the road, especially when i'm about to do a complete stop. my idle is at 500 on start up is that normal. any of you guys every come across that problem? any suggestions or what the problem might be? i was thinking about pouring some fuel injection cleaner into the gas tank, would that do it any good or just make matters worse? any info or help would really help.

 

dude i think u have the same problem as me....alternator dying..look at my post
