Apexi WS Catback w/ which y pipe?

For a long time I've decided to keep my car pretty quiet, considering half of my friends have catbacks and usually drove them insane within the first month of having it. But thanx to sagamax, a sound clip showed me that not all catbacks sound like loud ricey pieces of crap. A couple questions on hand.

I have a 97, and the apexi ws is made for the 95-96. I understand the procedure to customize it to fit my car, but what would a typical muffler shop charge for this type of procedure?

The warpspeed y pipe was paired with it in the sound clip. Anyone else have it paired w/another y pipe ie-budget y/cattman?

The apexi came out with the WS2. Is it availiable for the maxima?

Cheapest/best place/most reliable place to get the catback?

any other suggestions or comments are welcome.

as far as i know there's no WS2 yet for maximas, and they stop production on WS. back in the days... brand new WS catback is like around $400. you can probably look around for used WS catback for $300 or so.

since u have a 97, u'll probably need to drill a hole for rear O2 on ur b-pipe.

if i were you, i would go for custom catback to keep the noise down. get a magnaflow SS muffler w/ custom 2.25" inlet b-pipe + resonator. that's just IMO.

consider OBX type-H catback too...they are fairly cheap and it's sorta greddy evo replica. it sounds nice and deep too.
