Need help regarding coolant leak

Today I found a nice puddle underneath my car of coolant, I checked the coolant level which was fine, and I saw drops of coolant coming from the upper radiator hose, now would this be the only place that the coolant can possibly be coming from. Would it be the hose that's bad, or the clamp that needs to be tightened? Thanks

No offense but why did you post that? The easiest thing to do would be tighten the clamp. Takes maybe 5 mins tops.

If that stops your leak you have an answer

Check again, dont assume its from the upper radiator hose... Get under your car and under the hood and look around. When the water pump goes bad it leaks and it comes from the passengers side, down behind the alternator. IF its just the hose then your alright, its no biggie.

I did get under the hood and car, and I actually saw 3-4 drops come from the upper radiator hose. The leak is not from the passenger side, what would other symptoms of a water pump going bad? Regardless, I ordered the hose and clamps to play it safe. And I posted because I don't understand how the clamp can become loose you know what I mean?

nothing lasts forever, metal goes constant cycles of expansion and contraction, itll reach a point of tensile strength bcause of heat and force and itll fatigue and will expand over time. so like you said, just change the clamps and hoses before the hose pops off and your engine seizes from overheating
