Hard start when low on fuel

My car takes longer to start when the gas tank is below 1/4 full. The less fuel the harder it starts. Does anyone have the same experience?

It's because the fuel pressure is low. Before you try to start the car, turn the key to the "On" position for a few seconds. You will hear the fuel pump run and pressurize the system. Then it should fire up right away.

don't let your fuel level get that low. you're going to start picking up sediments in the bottom of the tank and run it through your fuel lines and into the fuel filter, clogging it up, and you're going to hurt engine performance.
