Windows On My Max..

Today I noticed that when I hold down the unlock button on my car remote for a certain amount of time the windows open until i let go.. Sometimes they open more and sometimes they open less.. Is this normal, or am I just stupid? If it is a normal feature what is Nissan's reasoning for adding it? What would be the need unless u were locked out, and if you were locked out how would you have the remote?

It's just a nice feature... I use it all the time when im walking to my black car on those 90* days. I prefer to let that initial rush of scolding hot air out of my car *before* I open the door and it hits me.

We've had it for years before VW made commercials about their great "innovation"

the front windows will go down all the way if you hold it for long enough. i like the feature, personally- black on black gets really damn hot...

you did not know if youhold it down they roll down?

when you roll the windows down with the remote it disables the trunk button. Hold the trunk button down for 3 seconds and it will auto roll themn back up. It can all be found in your owners manual.

I bought my max used this spring and it surprised me too.

Very nice feature for when you want to **** off a friend getting into his hot-*** car parked next to yours. The finger is the most common response.

I didn't know about them rolling back up????

Actually I got a question for you guys. I have a 95, and I bought mine used so Im curious if this auto window thing started back then. I see you guys have 97+. My car just came with the one nissan key, and no manual. It also has the little wonderful blinking "security" light. If so then I guess I could just get a remote from nissan or something or get something aftermarket.

you can roll them up, I always tell everybody, all you have to do is put the battery in the wrong way. Then hold LOCK to roll them up.

I always gets a laugh when the window topic comes up.

Everytime when I go to my car, I roll down the windows. A couple of my friends would say, "Yo! did you close your window?" I said "Nope". It works everytime.
