ok so a bunch of videos ive seen there are max's with intakes that whistle like a turbo when at wot...im wondering if thats because of a stillen style intake or any jwt or anything that have the velocity stack? because i have the franken midpipe and regular cone filter now and mine makes that turboish noise at like 1/4 throttle with o/d off but at WOT i dont have the noise and the noise im talking about can be heard in this vid... http://www.customenterprise.com/TEST...os/MaxRace.mpg just wondering why his car soudns like that? and if my intake sound would change to that if i had the hybrid franken/stillen combo insted of regular franken? and no im not trying to be a ricer wanting fake turbo noise if i wanted that id go buy one of those bov simulator things from ebay lol

the wide open throttle whistle is the y pipe, not the intake. I thought my car never did either until i heard it WOT from the outside of the car.

There is no way to get rid of the whistle sound....it's there FOREVER.

i actually have a turbo but nothing else, i scored it off my friends 95 eclipse gst he upgraded and was throwing it away so i took it so there ya go

 

my injen clone whistles then goes pssssht when i let off tha gas. j/k

but it does have a slight whistling sound and does this cool sucking noise when u floor the car in neutral. i like that.

 

nice its always fun to rev it up for no apearant reason
