hi
i don't know why but my car alarm has been going off at random intervals recently. i looked at the haynes manual, checked the alarm/start fuse under the hood and the fuse in under the steering wheel, but i everything is fine.

the weird thing is that even though the security LED blinks when i lock the car it doesn't work. i tried opening the door from outside when the car was locked but the alarm didn't go off. so the alarm goes off randomly, but it doesn't go off when it should. does anyone have an idea what is going on?

also, i don't have a remote so this should have nothing to do w/ a remote.
