how big do you like em? i just ordered the 3 1/2 from WS with their catback... im kinda thinking its gonna be TOO big? but im not sure...

which one did you get...the resonated tip...the chrome, rounded edge, single wall, angle cut one? that's the one I have...I try and send you some pics or take some pics on my car if you want...

 

btw, that muffler still gets me compliments from all the greddy and apexi guys at every meet to this day...they all come over when I start up my car and leave there's running and ask where I got such a quiet, rich sounding muffler...

 

nice... i got the rolled edge 3 1/2"... thinking in my head, it doesn't "sound" bad... but holding my hands in a 3 1/2" circle, i feel like a ricer...

im glad others like the sound, what other exhaust mods you got?

 

i have 3.5 tip and its just right, maybe a lil too small for me tho lol. up close it looks nice but far away it kinda looks too small

 

3 1/2 won't be too big. The Greddy SP has a 4.5 inch tip, and even that looks fine on a maxima because of the size of the car, and the size of the bumper cut out.

 

I like the look of the stock 5th gen muffler with the chrome oval tip over both pipes. That is what I have. Check out my www to see.

 

like I said, I have that tip and it doesn't look ricey at all!!! anything bigger starts to look ricey though...the 3.5 inch chrome rounded edge, single wall, angle cut one...which is what I presume you got, looks very modest and professional....like you have a performance muffler rather then a coffee can/fart can in the eyes of others...

 

It's all a matter of personal taste so draw your own conclusions, mines 4 1/2" but it's a complete axleback Topspeed muffler not an add on tip, my son loves it, I think I did it more for him! LOL

 

The apexi WS is actually a 3.98" tip. It looks big IMO. I'm looking to buy a tip with 2 2.5" or 3" oulets.
