When did your Coil Packs go Bad?

Just because you had a missfire doesn't mean your coil is bad. You should swap that coil into different cylinder to see if the coil problem moves to the new cylinder. If it moves your coil is indeed bad and then you can replace it or replace all 6 coils. If the problem stays in cylinder 1, then you have other problems. Spark plug. fuel injector, etc. Its not hard to swap coils! Good luck!!

Replaced all 6 at 29,000 should be a RECALL lets get some action on this...

Haven't replaced mine yet with 258k miles. Owned since 155k miles. Don't know if previous owner did but it kind of looks like it. All mitsubishi of course.

About a month or two ago my #5 cylinder pack went bad on my '99. Terrible, terrible symptoms. I have around 80k miles. I replaced all 6 ($ouch$). I tried to buy the Mitsubishi's per the .org's recommendation but Hanshens came instead.

they started acting up a little at 62,000 miles... now @ 96000 and theyre toast.
