Thoughts on Fstb & Rsb

My max is bone stock. Use it as a daily driver, have 200,000 miles on it and the fstb & rsb sound very interesting, relatively cheap and like they would make an impact in day to day driving.

How has this mod worked for anyone else?

I got mine put in on Wednesday (thanks Cutlr7 & Soonerfan!).

Definitely able to hit corners at higher speeds, and steering feels less splashy, although it's nothing spectacular...
Makes a difference, but don't expect your car to feel brand new or anything... As you say, they're relatively cheap, and they do a pretty decent job, so why not?

Cheers

If you really hate that body lean when you take the corners then those modifications would make you happy.

fstb and rsb and the underbody supports that warpspeed and another guy(a few posts back) have are the best for ridding your car of the dredded boddy roll. Along side OFCOURSE lowering your car.

For here in NYC theres not many places to take corners at... except maybe the Jackie Robinson Pkwy but I would definately go with the FSTB, I have it and its pretty good. I'm thinking of getting the sub frame connectors as well to quell some of the vibrations from all the potholes. I dont have a RSB though so I cant comment on it, but to be honest I dont really think I need it for around here.

I had a FSTB, RSTB, and RSB installed then took them all of at once. Boy what a difference! The car was soo loose and scary to drive on the highway. I put the FSTB and RSB back on and I love them (another RSTB is in the mail!). But you need to learn the new dynamics of the car with the RSB installed, totally different drive. The rear has tons of oscillation with the RSB installed. The bars are worth it if you are an enthusiest. But tires are way more important.

I have the Otto Racing FSTB which I highly recommend if you are going to get one. It helped somewhat with handling….it made a noticeable difference, but not what I expected. It definitely helped out with torque steer you get being front wheel drive.

Anyway, the Otto Racing one is polished aluminum and you can get it off of ebay for around $25 shipped.

As for the other stuff, I haven’t tried that…yet.

RSB differences

How is the Stillen RSB better than those generic in eBay selling for ~$120? Bar material, bushings, bolts quality? Anyone with tech info on these?
