"Check Engine" light is on immediately after clutch replacement!

I have a 96 Maxima SE and had the clutch replaced yesterday. As soon as we started it for the first time after the installation the light turned on and wouldn't turn off. Everything seems to be fine (perfect idle, runs quiet, no smoke) and it even runs better than ever with my new Exedy clutch! Just last week I had NGK spark plugs put in and got an oil change. So there really nothing major wrong with the car...Somebody please help...Is it possible I could just reset the light?

Check the codes. Here's how: http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html. Or take it to autozone and have them do it. There are quite a few sensors to reconnect after everything is back together, so one of those could be off, or they may have messed one up in the process. Come back with the code and I'm sure you'll get plenty respnses on what is wrong.

whoever installed the clutch could of forgotten to plug something back in. one thing i remember from doin my clutch is that you have to unhook A LOT of sensors. so i could see how one could of been forgotten.

To reset: turn screw on ECU clockwise for atleast 2 seconds, then turn back to fully counterclockwise position.

Thanks for helping! I reset the ECU by turning the little screw and the "check engine" light went off and hasn't come back on for the last few days. I don't expect it to come back on anytime soon neither.
