i installed one once in a ford focus. Works fine just but makes no sense considering you need to turn the ignition on in the car with the key then hit the button to start, when in less time you could just turn the key! LOL

but otherwise they are a cool mod to impress people with

i bought the one from Custom Enterprise as a gift. I saw no point in it either because you still need the key, but he likes it and it's his car.

true i just thought it would be cool. i know you can hard wire some to remove the need to use the key but i wouldn't do this of course. i know alot more cars are comming with them from the factory. plus i just thought it would be nice little touch.

it's mostly a cosmetic thing. if you like it, get it. i don't think it's extremely rice. better than a 10 ft aluminum bench on the trunk and a folgers can exhaust.

call it what you want.

Not to bad to wire up, but you need 2 relays, some misc. connectors, tools, and what not.

why would you need relays? Isn't the crank position already a regular switch with relays already hooked up? Couldn't you just wire it to that?

You have to power up 2 starter wires and well the way i did it worked for me. the relays use 10 gauge wire while the actual button can use 18 gauge. Its just smarter.
