Ecu upgrade questions

Ok i know and hear that the Jim Wolf Technlogies ECU is one of the better ecu upgrades what do they do that makes their upgrade so much better? Cant i just take it to United Auto sales and have it done there for basicaly half the price. They will program it to what i want. So could i just program it like the jwt?

What is united auto sales?

The only two that I've heard are any good are JWT and technosquare.

Have they created maps's for a 4th gen ECU? I highly, highly doubt they have developed them. It takes a good amount of R&D and dyno time to do something like that.

I don't think JWT's ROM programs are able to be downloaded either. I am sure they have put some sort of encryption in their program.
