Been driving for about 6-7 years and this has been my first accident so you'll have to excuse the long story
Yesterday I filled up the tank at the gas station and had to reverse to get back on the road. I looked back and there was no car behind or entering the gas station so I reversed and bang...crumple. I was hit by a Nissan Almera/Sentra but at the time I thought I had hit someone. Basically the left side(passenger side) rear bumper on my car rubbed along the back of his rear bumper. I got out and inpected the damage and was relieved to see nothing but a bruise on the clear coat . The other car bumper looked like it got more damage. I told the guy that some compound would fix mine and since he knew he was technically wrong we just left it at that. That was just a real gut wrenching experience that I will make sure never happens again. Check and double check when reversing.

NOW on top of all this, today we are on hurricane warning for hurricane Ivan . Our northern sister island Tobago is under the eye right now so I'm hoping that no trees go smashing into the car cause we have an open garage. It's really eerie to see the clouds in the sky moving in the opposite direction. Generally hurricanes miss us and hit everyone else so I'm hoping we are spared this time.

By the way...what buffer would you all recommend getting? I'm all out of elbow grease
