120 mph?

I hit about +-120 in the ball park and the car shut off for until the rpms fell a bit? is that normal? can I cut a wire to bypass that? or is my car f**ed up? I don't drve that fast I just wanted to spread her leds for a min.

You have a Govenor, the best way to get rid of it is to get a SE ECM.

No the only maximas with a govenor is GXE'S that do not have the C&C package. Just go to a junk yard and find a SE ECM with same year and same tranny and good by Govenor.

I believe if you do an ECU upgrade that takes care of it, as well as adding substantial horse power.

Make sure it has the same emmisions spec too. California or Federal.
