CLEAR LIGHTS for 95-96

I seen these lights that are clear on a 95. I know that the other clear light conversion is not possible on 95's and 96's. Anyone know how to do this/done before this... It looks pretty good...

Pictures are down below..... Thanks

Arent those pics from someone selling them on ebay?

From what I know, they all came clear... and they were illegal, so they were discontinued. Most people had them professionally painted to red/clears. Now if you see em on ebay... they ussually end up selling for about $300+!

Wonder why the 97-99 red/clears are upside down, and so much cheaper?

why? because we can do them for $4.99 for the cost of an acrylic light cover from home depot. when you take apart the tail light the 97-99 tails have multiple pieces that makeup all the colored lenses/reflectors... whereas, yours, are one single molded piece.

we can simply remove the orange and cut a piece of acrylic light cover to fit in its place and put it back together.

if you have the resources to cut/mold plastics together to form a one piece replacement for your tails, then more power to ya

YOu can also buy a set of 95 - 96 altezza's and paint the top half red with lense paint, and out some reflection tape on them, and have the lense.

I have a 96 and I feel your pain in dealing with tails. I just modified my altezza's to skyline. Link below.....Those clears are hard to find for ours, and when you do they are 250 or more.

The only difference as far as I can tell is that there is a crease in the trunk lid on 95-96 Maxima's that leads into the tail lights that does not exist in 97-99 Maxima's. The general shape of the light looks the same to me. Isn't it possible to get a newer trunk lid from a 97-99 and then just use the red/clears from a 97-99 on a 95-96 ??

Or even easier, just get the 97-99 red/clears and put them on a 95-96 regardless of the crease ?? I don't think it'll look bad at all and if you needed to, just fill in the small gap with some clear or black silicone. No ?
