Anyone here wire / install their own LED's under seats, and under the car? i think the underbody would be awesome because it would be harder to see than neons and give a great look! I was just wondering if someone has a writeup or any ideas.

ALSO cost, i know i'll need a sauting iron (30 bucks?) and the boards + leds + resisters should make the whole project take about 3 hours, and about 100 bucks.

right?

i don't want neons, i hate the look of the bulbs and i could make this ALOT CHEAPER, also i could make it so that it looked brighter than neons. I just wanted to know if someone had looked into this. If not then i'll write my own DIY.

Interesting.... I'm planning on doing it, but I need a 12V power source from arm rest.
Some mention the cigrette light, I need to do a bit more planning first.

Let me know how it goes...

I think the power from the powered seats are constant so your LED's would be on 24/7. You would need a switch to control the LED's probably. Which wire are you goign to tap into?
