LED Ingition Light?

LED Ingition Light?

hey guys,
i was wondering if there is any way to solder a led into the ingition. Ive painted mine with a sharpie but can u put a led in there?

if ur talking about the ignition ring, it can be easily taken off, and there is a liltle special light bulb, u can buy them onlune at variouse sites in various colors

i painted mine with a sharpie too but got tired of it fading away in a week or two. i think www.superbrightleds.com sells the bulb for them (#74)

I have an LED in there. you have to take all kinds of stuff off to get to it, but very doable. Need a resistor too.

hmm... off the top of my head.. unscrew the 6 screws? under the steering wheel.. then that should pop off both top and bottom piece. the keyring light should come out by pulling it to the right. twist and pull the whole ring out because it is connected and it should slide out fairly easily.

i hve a #74 led bulb in mine, and it works great and has great color.

real easy, theres a plastic piece around the ignition. look underneath and you can see where it starts, just pop it off with a screw driver, and you have access!
