remove door panel

remove door panel

i have read the shop talk. how do you pop off the door release cup while the door release handle is still there by pulling the door panel?

there's a screw holding the cup in. take the cap off, unscrew screw and u can then pull the cup off.

do you mean a screw holding the door handle release cup? according to this http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereor...sMaxFSpk01.htm. there is no screw?

are you talking about the plastic trim around the door handle?( where you can open the door, or lock it,im not good with words)

That trim is snapped in with plastic nubs near each corner. Just wedge a flat screwdriver under the corners and pry outward. The door handle won't matter. After you get all 4 corners loosened, you can pull the door handle out and slip the trim out around it. The handle stays on the door when you remove the door panel.
