Lighter brakes

Apparently, every pound you shave off rotating mass is like 7 pounds of static mass... even if that's (possibly) exaggerated, it must be pretty significant. Problem is, I have 15" wheels. No choice if I want to run slicks... do they make any kind of lighter brakes that would fit with 15" wheels?

Also, is shaving weight off the wheels/brakes in the rear important too? Or just the front since it's the only one connected to the engine?

of course, try powerslots or even brembo might offer a package that caters to your request.....go to the aftermarket venders' websites and look around....even tirerack.com has some decent brakes available for the Maxima....
