Exhaust issue. Cattman Headers/Ypipe, Random Tech HF cat,Stillen Cattback

I just recently changed too the cattman header setup to replace my stillen Y-Pipe setup that was giving me the BEEZ IN THE CAN noise.

Now the new setup is in, and occasionally i still get the BEEZ IN THE CAN noise. The exhaust sounds much better and much more toned. This beez in the cans noise only happens when the car starts up for the first couple mins of driving. After about 10 mins of driving and warming up, sometimes 20 the exhaust sounds PERFECT, like the absolute way and exhaust is suppost to sound.

What could the problem be? I was thinking the following. Small exhaust leek? A warming up issue?? Possibly a problem with the random technology catt replace possibly with a racepipe??? Could it be the stillen cattback? should i just sell it and upgrade the cattback????

i really could use some advice because it has been really bugging me. I put alot of money in the car, i only want the best and too hear the beez in the can noise just plain bothers me and makes me want to sell my max .

Might be an exhaust leak at one of the flanges since it's only when the exhaust is still cold. After driving the metal expands and closes the leak.

Take out a sprk plug and put a little ATF into the hole. Put the spark plug back and turn the car on, engine running. Get under the car and look for smoke.

My headers are kind of the same way. I get a buzzing sound from 1.5K-about 3K. It does lessen as the car heats up, but never fully goes away. I put exhaust wrap around the flew section and it helped alot. But it's not much different than my budget Y-pie.

I run stock cat and cat-back BTW.

ya around 1.5-3k myself. but it does it maybe the first time through shifting gears. after that its kool. maybe thats why it never really bothered me that much since its only a minimal time of doing that. maybe ill try the spark plug thing he mentioned above later this week

ITs the y pipe. All the y pipes do the same thing. it will never go away. also i heard most stillen exhaust do that with the y pipe on there. The headers should tone it but it will never go away.

My cattman headers have no bee in a can sound. Maybe the cattman y-pipe might buzz, but you have the headers and from my personal experience the headers do not. The noise is probable from the b-pipe especially if it is not resonated. If you replace the cat with a test pipe than the noise level will only increase.
