ok for performance i have a cattman y pipe, ws testpipe, 2.5" exhaust back to generic muffler, frankencar midpipe with stillen pop charger system, and the drop resistor mod. i am trying to find out if i can get the GD still on the motostorm pully for $90 shipped on the GD forum and that will be the next thing i buy unless somone thinks otherwise. my goal is to eventually run a low 15 like 15.1 or high 14's which is deff not happening with my current set-up. j wondering what mods are left to do on my ride cause i know the mevi is there but i cant take advantage of it because i have a 99 and we all know we have no ecu upgrades for them. i just need some ideas im drawing blanks here. btw i like my exhaust set-up now so headers are out of the question mostly because there very pricey. i want to stay n/a unless i run into some money which i just might be getting a doaner 95 gxe tomorrow from my fieances dad for CHEAP! if i do get it its gonna be awsome cause i can turn around and sell it for the bluebook value of $3500 at least and pocket the cash. thats a stillen s/c right there. but most likley it wont happen because he will prolly give the car to his dad insted but i have high hopes . just need some more go fast mods to do thats all. -ryan

I say do suspension but if your SOLEY look for STRAIGHT LINE acceleration then sell your car and buy a mustang, after that do suspension so you dont almost shyt your pants around corners. You also gotta tell us how much $ you want to spend. Id get an UDP too. If you get the motostorm just keep an eye, and ear on it. Mine gave me ALOT of trouble and I ended up having to get it welded together in one piece......

 

Sell it and buy a 5speed 99 SE-L. i ran a 15.1@93.12MPH and a 2.3XX 60ft. all i had was pop charger and y-pipe and a grounding kit.

it looks like u tried to do the bulge mesh grille but it came out kinda flat....or was that ure intention? i just did the bulge mesh grille on my max and the first time i did it, it fit perfectly in the spaces and it looked like crap to me, kinda came out like how u have it...then i redid it and cut it a little bigger and i just tucked and curved the mesh in and it looked great....then again i dont know if thats how u meant it to look but to each his own....id just try and do that over if u were trying the bulge mesh mod....and yes i know u were asking for performance mods on a max, but it just stood out in ure sig, the bottom looks like it came out okay though....ure grille looks weird though

yeah dude, suspension for sure. udp, smaller 15" wheels, steelies or the millenia wheels, get a true cold air intake, or no intake at all to get your low end back. i think your car just sucks dude, push it off a cliff.
