Sorry for thread whoring, but i have a couple questions regarding suspension modification. First of all for Illumia owners, what is the best setting to run the Illuminas on? I am looking for the MOST comfort w/out jeopardizing increased handling capablities. Plus, what are bumpstops and what are they used for?
I am currently riding on the Eibach Prokit on stock GXE struts/shocks(NOT A GOOD IDEA IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT IT). I get a constant sqweaking noise now. I noticed that the stock springs have a little buffer to prevent rubbing and hence the sqweaking noise. Is this the job of the bumpstop? If not, how do i get rid of this annoying sound?
