Alright when i first start my car usually in the mornings the exhaust smells like gas is this normal? i dunno if it does later on during the day but i really notice it wheni first start it in the morning

 

might have unburnt fuel in the exhaust. put some seafoam though your injectors, replace fuel filter and check for any leaks in general

 

mine has been doing the same thing ever since I bought it. Every once in a while my SES light comes on with the EVAP canister vent control valve. Could this be the cause? Can I work on this myself?

 

My car stinks in the morning, it smells like rotten eggs, but thats because I have basically a straight through exhaust and theres nothing filtering the fumes. During cold start ups is when your exhaust is the "dirtiest"
