suspension setup!
#4
I went for the AGX set up...... the illuminas will ride better...... Koni's a great shocks....but I did not want to modify the front struts the use the Koni's ... not to mention they were the most expensive.... most money+ most work.. pass.... illuminas were a little over $100 more than the AGX's.... I thought hard about the illuminas.. however I have alot of friends with AGX's and since they have been happy with them on their cars. I thought I would save the $100 and give them a shot.... I am still happy with the setup.... besides if I wanted the best ride I would have bought H&R springs with the illuminas..

Konis are SO not worth the $$.
First, the fronts are a strut insert which requires you to cut apart your OEM strut to install.
Second, the rears must be completely removed form the vehicle to be adjusted.
Third, they are still the most expensive, by a good margin.
Three strikes, Konis are out.

I have the Illuminas and H&R the ride is great, on the softer side closer to stock Se suspention but lower giving you much more handling ability. then you also have ways to modify the tokicos to set them stiffer in the front and softer in the rear (5-way adjustable)
i got the tokico's for $425 from a group deal and the h&r's were $227 I also replaced the strut bearings. The H&R's are 1.4 and 1.3 front and rear.
If you go with the S. Tech you'll have a much bigger drop since they are 2.2 front and 1.8 rear. you won't have a soft ride comparing to the stock suspention it will be much harsher and you'll feel each bump but your handling will be awesome though. you'll probably also need camber plates to set the correct allignment of front wheels.
Tein also makes the H. Tech Springs those are more comparable to H&R and offer 1.5 front and 1.3 rear drop. and you won't need camber plates since you're not dropping the car that much lower.
good luck
