There is also an ES, but that was only offered in Canada.
The GXE is the base model.
The GLE is the luxery model.
The SE is the sport model.

The only differences between them is the options that come with them. But the SE does have a stiffer suspension, spoiler, and different wheels.

Not exactly sure what the ES is. It seems to be very similar to a loaded SE model. But hopefully someone else here can give a definitive answer.

ES

I just wanted to bring this to the top again. What is the ES model? I don't think it has a spoiler if I remember...

And what does the Limited Edition get you in extras?

The ES is a Canada-only variation of the SE. It has the firm SE suspension but lacks some of the SE luxury items such as leather, sunroof and Bose stereo.

Limited

So the ES is not as nice as the SE. Cool. What about Limited Edition, I think it was only in '99. I think that might be my next Max. What does it have that I don't have now. Badges on the doors?

Re: SE-Limited Edition

Yeah, and something a bit more. You ever seen a red Maxima??

The SELs had some unique colors, like red.
