Can you wire subs to Factory bose and H.U????

Does anyone know if you can wire subs and an amp to your factory bose speakers and headeck if so can you tell me how or send me a link on how

yes
I've done this on my 97. There's a converter you can buy at Best Buy, etc. It pulls the signal from the back speakers and gives you a couple of RCA outputs. It doesn't seem to affect the rear speakers at all and I'm really impressed with the quality. I'm not a stereo fanatic, but the BOSE in this car really needed some low-end and this was a great solution.

EDIT: BTW, if someone could be specific as to which converter to buy, it'd be greatly appreciated. I took my car to Best Buy a long while ago and those idiots were like... "It's impossible to hook up a sub to your system". With that, I returned all the expensive merchandise I brought from them. If they knew about this converter, they could have had a solid sale .

But yeah.... Specificalize me someone pleeeeeeze My Best Buy is full of idiots.
