Hello all. I work for Cervinis Auto Designs. They have a Cobra R wing for the mustang that I just purchased from them for my Maxima. Im convertin the Max to look like a Skyline. I also purchased the TYC Tail lights with the paintable bezzels and the Skyline Front Bumper. Will eventually get the whole kit. Question is, has anyone else done this? basically with the Huge cobra R wing, it will give it that Street Racer taste to it. I know its huge, but its not aluminum but the side plates are. My max is black, as you can see in my sig and the wing would be painted black with chrome Ends on it.

Basically my question is, what are your toughts of it? I know ppl dont like a big wing on the max, but I tested it on there and personally think it will look good. Can anyone photoshop it onto the max? so I can see what it looks like a bit better. Its on there website at www.cervinis.com and click on the red mustang at the bottem with the cobra R kit on it and you will see better pictures of the wing on there.

And yes, I have tried to get them to make parts for the max,but it wont happen. They really do have the best quality stuff on the market though. Mustangs is mainly the car they make the parts for so I figuerd why not try a Mustang wing on the max, Cobra R style. Its super high and all, but it looks smooth when i test fitted it on there. Once again, what do you guys think about big wings? And how do you think it will go with the Skyline look? Because I personally think the skyline wing is simular to this cobra R wing.

when will this man learn...if u want a more radical look, its the kit u should focus on, wings do maxima's no justice....someone preach on!

Sarona kit with skyline front bumper, or M bumper or even stillen bumper with type II spoiler is all this man needs.

I dont know about that wing on a max but i think it could look really cool i say give it a try and remember to post pics. Oh yea that lightning on the website is Sick.

Trying to make a 4th gen look like a Skyline is silly IMHO. The body shapes are vastly different between the two cars.

WWWHHHYY? Your maxima is already hot. Don't mess it up. My friend put a big wing on his Maxima and it looks like a bat. I think more people will make fun of it than think it looks good. IMO

I dont think it would look good, but its your car and your money.

 

Mount it on your roof and that would be custom




Seriously please don't put that wing on the max, it is designed for a Cobra R, and it even looks stupid on that too.....

I don't like it at all.
I don't think that kind of stuff belongs on a Maxima.
Maxima is a classy sports sedan....not a Honda.
Anyway, do what you want and be happy with it.

 

The Cobra R wing is SOOO big if you've seen it in person. I personally don't think it'll look good on the max, because people will think that you are a Cobra R wannabe. I think a Supra type wing would be a better choice.

I would like to see it on the car though. It might change my mind.

I will get most of the R parts installe dbut some of them are not covered. But I am getting everything the offer except for the cams and the off road header but everything else the offer is going on the car. Including the Nismo Wheels. Its going to be white with bronze. So is that a little better.

yea u can just go look at my post of my video...i beat a 6 spd with headers and full exhaust nismo intake and various other things and i ran a damn 16.1!!!lol just a fact

 

in the end it still is a sentra... no need to fight.

 

i no longer think highly of the se-r badge i think that car wears more badges than it can carry. 6 spd, nismo parts backing it, compact car and yet it still is runnin slower than our family sedans does that make sense? also i know its considered a sports car for my insurance anyone else? thats kinda a waste of insurance money but all the more power to you i still kinda like the way they look with the r34 kit on em

Yeah I know I just want one, Im also going to get like a 1993 or there abouts Z. I want a fleet of Nissans and my wife is trading in her 99 Honda Hatchback for a Exterra. And this coming spring I im getting a old sentra se-r like a 89 or 90 (little box) for commuting. So Im trying to have a fleet of nissans, 95 max 89or 90 sentra, 93 Z and 04 Exterra, and 04 Sentra SE-R.

The 05 is the best thing that has happend to the Stang in a really long time. I always loved the Stang and always will. They have got to be the funnest cars to drive expecially the 5.0's before they changed the body in '95.

As for that wing on the max, i say NO. But do what you want. Im not sure how it will look if installed properly but from the looks of things it will not look good. Oh yea, huge spoilers do not make you win shows. An origional nicely done up car will. The spoiler does not make the car. Just my .02

 

Dont forget that overpasses on highways are only like 12ft high
