Last night, the Max got broken into along with 6 other cars right in a row.(2 civics, another Max,STi,Mazda 3,and GSX).
Brand new NX kit in the back seat about to be sold;GONE.
Cefiro Headlights;GONE.
Buncha cds,dvds;GONE.
Pioneer CD player;GONE.
Used Nike running shoes?;GONE. (who steals used shoes?)
All college books along with ID;GONE.
Don't think they new what the MEVI was cuz that was left.
Microvision screen was played with but they couldn't get it out.
Smashed rear,passenger side window.

Why can't people get there own ****!?!?
Welp, guess that'll teach me not to leave stuff in my car.

I dont think its a good idea to keep things in the car. Believe me i learned my leason and it was far worse then what just happened. If you park in your driveway, get a camera and place it there. A really loud alarm will help. If you have full theft then keep reciepts and take pictures of whats mounted into the car. Insurance will cover anything that is mounted if you have the reciepts.
If someone had a really good alarm, maybe this could have been avoided and the people would have been caught and been beaten to the point where the best thing for them would be behind bars. I think it would have been easier to steal the entire car but they just messed with a bunch of them.... got to give it to them, they do have ball$.
Im sorry about what happened to you i know how it feels.

The snake is a good idea but not for me... I dont like the d@mn things. Better still having a great dane there to guard it would be awsome. Imagine a theif tries to steal your car and there is a dog there that practically towers over him.... wonder what would run through their minds at that moment.

3 years ago i used ot own 1995 Dodge Neon Sport Coupe. they broke in and didn't touch my CD player or anything else, but they took a pack of cigaretts. So i would just leave a pack out in your car. Maybe they will get distracted. THats if they smoke at all.

In Europe, they have alarm systems that will send an electric shock to intruders (50Kvolts) & sirens that are so piercing loud that your ear drums can become damaged causing disorientaion. They also have kits you can bye that shoot a flame out the side of your car if someone attempts to car jack you. Too bad there illegal here in the states. If they were legal I could deffinitly see a drop in auto theft...

just display a copy of your concealed weapons permit on your dash, that might make them think twice, you can get a camera system from radio shack for about 150.

sean05-seeing as your 16 and your car was egged, i feel ya, my cars were egged 3-4 times in high school, i graduated last year. all i can say is, get that camera from radio shack, and spread a rumor about yourself around school saying that your dad is a cop, or something to the effect. keep the maxima well waxed too, my old 240sx was egged with 3 dozen eggs at nite and i didnt find out till 1 then next afternoon. only thing that saved my paint was my obsession with waxing that pearl white every other week. id say a good 6 coats every other week for 2 months and that thing was blinging even after being egged.

yea, Nothing beats the a$$holes that ding your doors in parking lots...

Almost just as bad as the car jackers lol...

We need to find some kinda alarm that kicks door panels in (the other car) wen its gets dented lol maybe it would werk to kick the car jackers in the nuts when they try to open the door...

Have any of you tried that auto lock?
