I have been dealing with the foul odor that comes out of my ac vents everytime I turn it on. The foul smell seems to be coming out of the evaporator fins/case. Anyone has any tips to get rid of the smell? My car only has 32k miles and this smell seems to be getting worse. It there a way to access the evaporator fins or get into the case to remove the buildup of this gook that causes these odors? I have tried Lysol but it doesn't get in deep enough.

I've heard that DWD2 works well. http://www.texasdistribution.com/
Click on Do It Yourself to see how DWD2 accesses the evaporator fins.

I've never had the odor problem, and have never used DWD2. Therefore this is offered as a point of information, not a personal recommendation.
