tranny bearing blowing out

tranny bearing blowing out

any of you guys have this problem develope?... im not talking about the preload shims being off, i mean like 1st gear winding like theres no fluid in the tranny and 2nd gear 1/2 as loud and faint in 3rd, but it is sooo loud in 1st and its getting worse... i think i need to junk yard a tranny this week and swap it in... i got a 95 no abs 5speed se any imput is appreciated. thanks,

What makes you think it's not the shims? The whining is one of the symptoms. Check to see if you're leaking where the axles go into the tranny. Check out car-part.com for trannies.

mines did the same exact thing before it went
it got louder and louder i barely got the car home because all i had was 3rd and 4th the car wouldnt go into 1st or 2nd

Its going to blow.... I have a '98 max and it went out about 2 months ago.

the axel seals are not leaking,... damnit i wish it had just been the damn throw out bearing. now i gotta get me a tranny for 450ish used 3000 new lol and then install it or pay 300-400 for the install... peace.
