quick question about the starter

quick question about the starter

Hey guys my starter just went out, and I just wanted to know if it is hard to install on my own, or should i just let a mechanic do it. thanks

since it's gonna be your first time,
it will take time to replace it.
but it's difficulty is not something crazy that you can't do it yourself.
and while you do this by yourself, you'll learn about your car.
i would do anything by myself unless the repair needs special tool.

DO IT YOURSELF. its easy..all u have to do is remove the air intake. Then there are 2 screws holding the starter in.

just take off the air intake (mostly screws), then a good ratchet and maybe a break bar.

very easy to replace. you can see it from the top view and the only thing in the way is the intake as mention. shouldnt take u more than an hour to do.
