ok so i just got done putting my cattman y pipe on today with the huge help of Maximumhp (thanks eric) and i also got a new resonator put on for all you haters out there that remember my car sounding like a big rice cannon lol. So my new setup is cattman y pipe, test pipe to universal straight through muffler and i must say its much much better sounding that that nasty non resonated garbage i used to have at the begining of this day haha . so anyway enough talk here it is hope yall like it i know i do. VIDEO and heck if anyone remembers i couldnt spin the tires for whatever reason off the line now after y pipe install just watch in the vid its totally wierd like night and day for acceleration its alot quicker through gears. -ryan

A y-pipe will not make your tires spin. It kicks in power at 3.5-4k pm so that ain't it. Also, get rid of the straight pipe. Get some of that tq back and it won't sound as bad. You can still hear the rasp/crackling sound. See ya at the track.

No, I'm not saying it sounds bad. I'm saying it's still raspy and crackling in the higher rpm and that can be taken care of if you got rid of the test pipe.

That's a good improvement over what you had. Though on hight RPS it still gets raspy. I was in your shoose once and the only muffler that I finally settled with is off 2K2 maxima. To each his own..

Ryan wishes he had a SC Luke! The new set up actually sounds good to me.

 

I think it sound ok.. better then the old one actually a lot better.
