Single sheet 15%, all the way up, (no gap) on windows. Perfect. I used to have a TRIPLE sheet on my rear window 10 years ago on my first car, a Buick Century. I did not have a clue. The funny thing is- I was HAPPY with it. LOL

There's no need far any competent installer to have any seams on any of the windows.

Is having a Police officer the only way to check the % of tint? If you ask one to check it and it is too dark, can't they give you a ticket?
The reason I ask, is because I would like to have mine checked. I thought I had 35% on the fronts and 20% on the backs. Yesterday, the police had a check point to check window stickers. I slowed downing knowing my stickers are up to date and had no worries. My front window was half way down. The officer says my windows are too dark but to go ahead anyway. I guess it helps to have two baby seats in the back. I believe NYS allows 30% so I should have no problem passing, I just want to be sure.
Thanks

that is why I am only going to do it 35%. That is the legal limit here.
I would not recommend going darker than the legal limit anyway.
I would not do 5%, even if it was legal....too dangerous....you cannot see a thing while backing up at night.
