i was racign my buddy mustang the other night and my ecu goes after driving it a lil hard, when i stopped i pulled a 0505 off it so i was relieved and a lil confused, only other tiem i got 0505 was when i changed a bad knock senosr for a used one... its been 1k+ miles on it and it hasnt went off, anyone else had this prob?? could it be something else i'm overlooking that could be triggering the ecu even its a 0505 code??

 

Hum man.. the 0505 trouble code mean NO TROUBLE DETECTED!

 

yeah i know im jsut wondering y it keeps popping back up, i had to reset it 2 times already, once right after changing knock sensor, one lil bit after ~200-300 miles, and now after 1k miles, i thought once u reset the ecu its all good... wtf

 

i diagnosed my code once and kept getting the 0505..turns out i was clearing and not checking LOL
