well i was talking auto but what about 5 spd? how bout both its just that 5 spd seems like to much work for me i get ****ed off at things easy and dont think i have the patience to do the swap and im def not paying for somthing i can do myself so idk i was just exploring options i will prolly go with a new car within the next couple months hopfully before winter tho for sure

I asked because I only know anything about the 5spd. Is your tranny going? How miles do you have?
As far as the five speed...it's a direct fit. Since you're auto you'd have to get new axles, but if you were originally 5spd you wouldn't.

i see and no my tranny isnt going right now i dont think somtimes it shifts into drive hard when its cold but other than that theres no signs of slipping or anything. i do have 143,000 miles tho so i think im trading it in to a dealer for somthing else cause i dont think anyone will buy it with that much milage private party idk maybe if its stock again

Post in the FS forum and see what you can get...You always get more selling than trading in, unless they just give you extra to get you to buy the new car in which case you could have just talked them down on the sale price by the amount extra they gave you for your car. I would think you could sell yours and get an older 5spd with fewer miles. If nothing's wrong with your tranny there's no reason to swap it out, especially if you plan to get rid of it soon.

I agree with Terran, Sell the car on your own, the dealership wont give you much for the car.
check www.edmunds.com, and put in the information for you car, they will give you a fairly acurate number of what the dealerhsip will give you.
