Hi guys, i recently bough "ShowOff Krypton Xenon Bulb 9004 80w" to replace my head light bulb. I was wondering if this bulb is safe to use since the recommended wattage use is lower then 80w. Do i have to get new wires or something? Or Will this bulb work just fine? I don't want to burn out anything..

Here's the deal >>

Buy the APC harness. There will be people here that say that you don't need the thicker wires, but the majority will tell you that you do need them. It's kind of a play it safe kind of thing. Besides, having the harness would increase the efficiency of the headlamps, even if you are running stock 45/65W bulbs.

I am one of those people that will tell you to get the wiring harness or go with the stock wattage. i say this from expirence , ive been through many sockets and lights, right now i have apc's that keep frying my socket cause there putting too many watts for it to handle, if you buy overwatted its only a matter of time

I'm really new to this. Where can i purchase the APC harness? Any recommended store? How much would this harness cost? Is it self "installable?" If its too complicated, and ends up paying a mechanic to do this,.. it will cost alot. Thanks alot guys for helping me out

Go to one of these websites, search for a good price. A good price would be anywhere from $35 to $55. -->

I'm sure there are others, but these are the first to come to my mind. Also, the APC harnesses are getting more popular, to do expect some places to put you on backorder. I don't know of any "store" that you can visit that might have these so...stick with the web. If you know how to turn a screwdriver, this install should be no problem. But, if you find your troubled over the wiring, don't hesitate to come up on here and post here...myself and many others would be happy to walk you through it as best as we can.
