Open Vacuum Line - Assistance Requested

Look near the center of this photo...

There's an open brass vacuum line.

Is this supposed to be connested to something or should it be stoppered?

I hope the link works...

DON'T BOTHER CLICKING THIS. THIS LINK DOES NOT FUNCTION. HOWEVER, THE LINK POSTED IN THE SECOND REPLY BELOW WORKS.

Can I get a photo, a clear explanation, or even a vacuum diagram?

I inspected the TB area and am unable to locate a vacant fitting or loose line/tube.

is that line connected to the center tube of 3 tubes coming off the lower part of the throttle body? if so I was having a discussion about that line the other day with I30tMikeD. his isn't connected to anything while mine is connected to a small nipple on my intake midpipe.

It's not the center line.

It's the far left one (the forward-most one). It's nearest the intake baffle/resonator.

If you look at and enlarge the photo you'll see that the center line is connected to the intake or TB via a black rubber hose and the far right line (the rear-most one) is stoppered with a black rubber cap.

With the car running at idle, this open line draws no vacuum so if it's supposed to be hooked up, it obviously gets drawn upon.

On the other hand, maybe the vacuum this line draws doesn't come on until RPMs rise.

Here's two pics of it. The line in question coming that is the left (driver's side) of the 3 identical fittings coming off the underside of the TB is the line you see on the top of the round black thing I'm pointing at, coming off towards the right (opposite of my finger).
