Exhaust tip sizing

I want to keep my stock exhaust, but I dented the tip that is currently on it. So I'm looking for a new one.

Is there a way to get a new tip installed...Without the screw that holds it in? can you get it welded on? and is there a way to not have the real inner tube visible? I just want the exhaust to look like a real aftermarket one, w/o the ugly rusting tube inside..

also, what size would i get for a 1996 SE?

Buy a tip you like with a neck that will just slide over your stock pipe, have a muffler shop cut your pipe back far enough to leave a weld point for your new tip, that's probably the best you'll get without changing the muffler. Hope this helps
