KS testing, I'm stuck...Help!

I took the plug off of that leads to the wiring harness from the KS...not the actuall plug at the KS underneath the manifold but the F121 plug....
I was trying to test to Kohms with my digital multimeter that I just bought (I still dont know how to use it That well) and I have the black wire hooked to "COM" and the red wire hooked to "V(Ohm)mA" and I took the red wire and hooked it to the male part of F121 plug on the socket that is torwards the front of the car and I took the black wire and anchored it to the negative battery post...No reading, no changes in the multimeter, I know I made contact on each the F121 connector and the ground (tried several different grounds)....I need help, some clarification if I'm doing anything wrong, any pictures to help me out would be appreciated greatly!

BTW, I picked up code 0707 (rear o2 sensor) and 0304 (as you know, the ******* KS)....

Odds are you need a KS, hows the car performing? I've never tested a KS so can't help you there, the 0707 is nothing to worry about performance wise, since its the back o2 sensor, it does nothing to affect performance.

I can feel the timing being retarded when driving...Sometimes it's quick, other times it's very laggy...it's usually quick when the engine is colder, then when it warms up it starts to lag. I just reset the ecu so hopefully the code wont throw so soon....What if the 02 sensor is throwing it's code, can that mean the cat covnerter is plugged partially? It's probably a short in the wiring somewhere, that is what an ase tech said after he looked at it....Yeah the KS probably needs to be replaced, is it possible to install a new one without taking the intake manifold off? Thanks Much in advance!
