No Start

No Start

I was having problem witm my max starting for a while.Now it does not start at all.It cranks over.I noticed the plugs where wet when i removed them.I also checked if it was getting any spark and it was o.k.What else can i check.Has anybody else had these problem and what did you do to repair it.

Sounds like the engine got flooded. Did you try to crank for a while? The way to start a flooded engine is to press the accelerator to wide-open (i.e full throttle) and then crank.

I started it the next day and it still did not start.I already try starting it that way ,no luck.

Possibly you are not getting any fuel - maybe the fuel pump is shot or check the fuel pump fuse to make sure it is not blown. It might be worthwhile to check all yours fuses (inside the car and in the engine bay).

Maybe the timing chain broke? *evil music playing*. Naw let's hope it's nothing that serious...yes check all the fuses, etc, and also check to see if maybe the fuel filter is clogged. And as always....check the ignition switch...could be the problem. Seems like that's the solution to alot of the starting problems. Do me a favor. Turn the headlights on and when you attempt to start it...Do they get really dim while cranking? or stay full bright?

More info needed. How strong does it crank? The simple answer is your starter is probably shot.
