I had a similar problem in traffic. Try cleaning/checking the EGR valve and EGR pipes. When I took mine off it was SOLID with carbon crap (wasn't cleaned for at least 6 years so what do you expect lol) and there was no way ANYTHING could have gotten through. After cleaning with chemicals and picks, the stalling problem went away...if this happens after starting your maxima, or it takes forever to start, try replacing the ignition switch I keep barking about.
